You’ve likely heard of all the great benefits of hot tubs and saunas, especially for detoxifying and losing weight. Most implement hot tubs as part of their post-workout strategies. Over the past decades, you have seen the exercise industry grow and expand substantially. Today, you can find all sorts of workout routines and diets that aid in burning calories and shedding fat. There are even supplements like human growth hormones. You can buy HGH online to use as part of your workouts to enhance muscle building and fat loss.

Majority of the workouts you find today either promote being very simple or push you to extreme limits. Both strategies can be used in conjunction with a hot tub or sauna to increase calorie burning. There are even studies that backup why this is such a good idea. They show that more calories are burned when your temperature is raised by a hot bath, and can also help your blood sugar levels!

Using Exercise and Hot Baths for Better Health

Everyone knows that working out can improve your overall well-being. Most people are looking for the easiest way to get the quickest results, which is why it’s recommended that you buy HGH online from brands like Humatrope or Genotropin to include in your regimen.

The concept of using hot baths along with exercise to burn calories and level out blood sugar was put to the test by an exercise physiologist by the name of Steve Faulkner, Ph.D. In this study, he measured how your body’s temperature affects your blood sugar levels and calories burned.

The study included a small group of people who were given monitoring devices to keep track of their blood sugar levels, calories burned and core body temperature (taken rectally).

During the first phase of the study, the volunteers took baths that were kept at a consistent 104 degrees. Once their body rose in temperature and stabilized, they moved on to the second phase, which consisted of getting on a stationary bike for an hour. The energy expenditure of the volunteers was increased by 80 percent while sitting in the hot bath for 60 minutes, but didn’t reach the energy expenditure from the stationary bike exercise. However, it could be compared to walking briskly for 30 minutes.

The calories burned from riding the stationary bike was 630 calories and 140 calories were burned in the hot bath.

It’s good to continue learning new methods for becoming fit and healthy. You can try adding hot tubs to your workout routine to burn more calories, and buy HGH online to increase your workout results!
